We are grateful for you.

The holidays are a great time to come together and celebrate one another. It’s a time of much excitement that could turn into a stressful or heavier time if you don’t take care of yourself. With the holiday season upon us, it’s important to not get caught up in the busyness of it all and lose track of what’s important.  Thus, we wanted to offer you three tips to help you along.

*First, find time during the day to center yourself.  The beginning of the day is the perfect time to visualize what you want to accomplish on that day, set your intentions and move forward with clarity and perspective. If you are not a morning person and the beginning of the day is a harder time for you, then find time during mid-day or at the end of the day.  Remember this your time, thus it’s important that this is uninterrupted time. Find your space, a comfy chair to settle in, close your eyes, put some soft music on, breathe and relax.  The longer you do it, the better it will be for you.  Let go of any pesky thoughts that might pop into mind with grace and ease, and just focus within.  This practice gets easier with time, the more you do it, the easier it becomes.  With practice, it will allow you to let go of the stress and find answers and guidance that might have not been so obvious before.

*Second, make sure you find time to move.  Yes, exercise your body!  It doesn’t have to be a gym workout. It can be as easy as going on for a walk or dancing to your favorite tune while you are cooking.  Whatever it is, find the time to move, it releases stress and endorphins, so it’s a great way to feel good.

*Third, find time to be grateful.  Look around you and take notice of the little things, not so much of the obvious, but also of all the little things that make your life special.  The more you are grateful for something, the more the universe will give you things to be grateful for.

And as always, we are grateful for you.  Thank you for trusting us in the care of your wellbeing.  Have a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving!
